SOLTOP was formed in 2021 through the merger of SOLTOP Schuppisser AG and Energie Solaire SA and has since covered solar power, solar thermal and heat pumps. Battery storage is part of the Smartsol system, which automatically coordinates energy flows in the building and maximizes the share of self-generated energy.
The solar collectors are manufactured at the company's own plant in Elgg. Alongside its main site, the company runs branches in Sierre and Puidoux. The offering targets installers and planning firms as well as homeowners directly.
