EKZ has extensive experience operating solar systems on other people's roofs and offers three basic models, full purchase of the electricity produced, self-consumption with grid feed-in of the surplus, or a pure roof lease. Contracts run for 25 years, after which owners can take over the system or sign a new contract.
The offering targets properties with large, contiguous roof areas, such as industrial buildings, shopping centers, residential developments and public facilities. EKZ operates mainly in the cantons of Zurich and Schaffhausen.
